prototype
i've been making a prototype this days while i am on vacation. i am very happy and satisfied that i could do it since almost 4 years without making anything on my own.
since i finished university i have been working in a team either doing Ignited Steel with my friends or working in companys. i had wanted to do a game entirely on my own for a long time but i was blocked for several reasons
one of them was the stupidest thing, but i did not know which engine i should go with. the thing i have used the most is unity but since the fuck up i did not really want to use it. my other option was (and has finally been) godot but i was too lazy and had too little time to learn how to use a new engine from scratch.
this vacation i had a surge of creative energy and i just decided to start making something on godot, luckiky for me is fairly easy to use and learn, at least for the moment. i made a prototype in less than one day and now i am turning it into a full (very small) game. is probably shitty and is kind of a disc room joke ripoff but is gonna be free and i just want this project to start moving and gain inertia to start making some games on my own. it is working so far since i am super motivated and feeling great to experience that i still know how to make things on my own, which has been something that has been tormenting me for a while
anyways, take care and i will show the game when it is finished
